Orlando, Fla. – LSU Women's Tennis senior Paris Corley grabbed her 22nd win of the season with a straight set win over Auburn's Selin Ovunc to advance to the quarterfinal round of the 2021 NCAA Singles Tournament on Tuesday afternoon at the USTA Campus.
With the win, Corley improves to 22-4 on the season and becomes only the fourth Tiger to advance as far in the NCAA Singles Tournament, joining Suzana Rodrigues (1994), Bruna Colosio (2000 & 2001), and Megan Falcon (2007). With the defeat, Ovunc finishes 15-11 and earns a spot on the 2021 ITA Singles All-American team.
