BATON ROUGE – Former LSU Tiger Collis Temple III will be the guest on Thursday (Feb. 7) when Coach Will Wade hosts his monthly Tipoff Luncheon presented by UPS at L’Auberge Hotel and Casino Baton Rouge.
The monthly gatherings for good food and basketball conversation are open to the public.
Coach Wade will preview that Saturday’s LSU-Auburn game and look back at the recent play of the team.
Temple, whose father Collis Temple Jr., played for Dale Brown and his younger brother Garrett, who played on the NCAA Final Four team in 2006 and now plays for Memphis in the NBA, had a fine LSU career that included a trip to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament in 2000, an NIT appearance in 2002 and a second NCAA Tournament appearance in 2003.
