Weekly college football top 25 rankings are a big part of every season, and Athlon Sports will update its top 25 following the games each weekend. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the amount of games and start of play for all 10 conferences is different. Last week, the Pac-12, Mountain West and MAC announced their intention to play its 2020 season in late October through December. As a result, the top 25 will look a lot different on a week-to-week in 2020. Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State and Florida head into Week 4 ranked as the top four teams, but Georgia, Notre Dame, Penn State, Miami and Auburn aren’t far behind.
