A few weeks ago, the LSU Tigers picked up a 17-10 win on the road at then-No. 4 Clemson. The win gave the Tigers a season-opening win for the first time since 2019, and signaled to the country that the Tigers were legitimate National Championship contenders this season.
The defense shined in the opener, while Garrett Nussmeier went 9-for-9 for 39 yards in the fourth quarter, and tossed a game-winning touchdown pass to Trey'Dez Green with just over 11 minutes to go.
At the time, it was a massive win that put the entire country on notice.
