A number of top recruits were on hand for the start of LSU’s spring practices on Monday. Pontotoc, Miss. offensive lineman Cole Smith was on hand and received his official offer to join LSU’s class of 2018, and decided to jump on it.
Smith is a 6-4, 275-pound tackle, but projects to move inside, something that LSU has major need for at the moment. His junior highlights also show some work on defense.
