BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes (CCACSA) recognizes six athletes for their scholastic and community achievements each month. Five student-athletes are chosen based on their commitment to academic success, while the Life Skills honoree is selected for their devotion to volunteerism and service to the community.
Here are the April 2019 CCASA's staff Student-Athletes of the month:
• Taryn Antoine, So., Softball, Alexandria, Louisiana (Major: Biology)
Nominator – Senior Associate Director Carole Walker: “Taryn is a model student who works hard in the classroom and is always willing to help her teammates in regards to studying or understanding difficult content in biology and chemistry courses that she is taking this semester.
