The LSU Tigers picked up a touchdown on its first offensive possession and forced two three-and-outs on the defensive side of the ball to start Saturday’s game against the Eastern Michigan Eagles.
The Tigers took the field for their second offensive possession of the night, and drove the ball deep into Eastern Michigan territory after solid rushing gains from Leonard Fournette and Derrius Guice, and a pair of defensive pass interference calls.
On second-and-10 at the Eastern Michigan 21-yard line, quarterback Brandon Harris extended LSU’s lead to 14 with an impressive run off the read option.
