One of Brian Kelly's first moves in Baton Rouge was firing strength and conditioning coach Tommy Moffitt. A beloved figure by both fans and players, Moffitt had been at LSU since 2000. He served as the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator from 2000-2015 before getting promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Strength & Conditioning in 2016. He put together a legendary resume with the Tigers, which included helping build three National Championship teams under three different head coaches.
After getting fired by Kelly in 2021, Moffitt got a fresh start in College Station when Mike Elko hired him to be Texas A&M's Director of Strength & Conditioning.
