BATON ROUGE – The No. 1 ranked LSU Beach team will take to the sand Saturday at noon CT in LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium for its annual Purple vs. Gold Scrimmage, signifying that the start of the season is less than a week away.
"It's been almost a whole year since we've been able to compete as a team," said head coach Russell Brock. "Even though it's a scrimmage, it signifies that we're less than a week away from real competition."
LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium will be closed to the general public throughout the 2021 season due to its limited capacity.
