As one academic and athletic year at LSU comes to a close another will begin in due time, and when the 2021-’22 season starts we’ll see the Tigers in signature events across multiple sports.
Thursday afternoon it was announced that the LSU Baseball team will partake in the 2022 Shriners Hospital for Children College Classic which will once again be played at Minute Maid Park in Houston. Now in its 22nd year, the Shriners Classic has turned into one of the best regular season tournaments in college baseball and the 2022 edition will have a stacked field. Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and UCLA will be joining LSU in Houston and the games will be held March 4-6.
