Back in the beer review game just in time for American Craft Beer Week, which will have a couple great events in the Baton Rouge area, if you’re looking to maybe try some special items.
Sadly, one of my favorites will not be going off, as the annual Iron Brewer event, which had been scheduled for this Saturday at Mockler Beverage, was forced to be cancelled due to some very stupid ATC Board regulations. The annual homebrewer competition has been a fantastic event at Tin Roof the last few years, but regulations forced a move — God forbid the free (admission was a canned good donation) home-brewed beer be too close to the tap room with he for-sale beer — but sadly, not this year.
