And the Valley Cooks: a Bourbon Peanut Butter Milkshake

So tomorrow is the Fourth of July, and sure, that’s always prime grilling/cookout season — but how about an after-dinner drink?

Especially in this heat.

The maple syrup adds a nice little depth of flavor that kind of brings more of the bourbon out, as opposed to the peanunt butter, which can be a little dominant in this setting. It creates a nice contrast.

2 oz. bourbon

12 oz. maple syrup

14 cup crunchy peanut butter

1 cup vanilla ice cream

1 cup ice cubes

It’s a milkshake — combine it all in a blender and whip it up until it’s nice and smooth and frothy.
