I can’t even describe how great yesterday felt after LSU’s 17-10 season-opening win over Clemson. Winning always helps, but this one was different. A sixth straight season-opening loss would have been maddening; instead, LSU delivered a truly uplifting, tone-setting victory — the kind of win that makes the sun shine a little brighter, the air feel a little lighter, and my inbox fill with more positive messages than I’ve received after a game in quite a long while.
