With less than three weeks from National Signing Day, the LSU football team is scrambling to find a quarterback recruit to round out its top-ranked 2016 recruiting class. The Tigers may have found the answer in former Rutgers Scarlet Knights commit Anthony Russo.
Russo, a three-star quarterback prospect from Archbishop Wood High School (Warminster, Penn.), de-committed from the Scarlet Knights on Monday night in an announcement via Twitter. LSU has emerged as one of the early favorites to land the 6-foot-4 signal-caller’s services.
