Good news broke yesterday when 2019 Haynesville DL Joseph Evans pulled the trigger on a commitment to LSU. This commitment comes out of the blue as very little was known about Evans prior to yesterday’s commitment. In fact, Evans was not even rated on 247.
Highlights are scant, and don’t seem to be publicly available. So where did all this come from? Well, the staff spent the bye week studying tape for recruiting. We’ve already seen one new offer for 2018, in QB James Foster. Evans is reportedly putting together a strong Junior campaign and is in excellent academic standing (reportedly sports a Yale offer).
