Week 1 of college football’s 2017 season features a hefty 87-game slate. Of course, even though it's tough to keep up with 87 games over a couple of days, we won’t complain about having college football back and games on every weekend until December. However, with 87 games booked for Week 1, it’s easy for some matchups to go unnoticed. Florida State-Alabama, Florida-Michigan, Virginia Tech-West Virginia, Texas A&M-UCLA and BYU-LSU headline the opening weekend of games and have received a lot of hype and discussion throughout the offseason.
Earlier this week, Athlon Sports ranked all 87 games in terms of must-see value for the first weekend of action.
