Four-Star WR Drake Davis Commits To LSU Over Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas A&M

Four-star wide receiver Drake Davis (Baton Rouge, LA), the No. 10 rated wide receiver in the 2016 class, verbally committed to the LSU Tigers at the Under Armour All-American Game. Davis was also considering Alabama, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.

Davis joins a LSU class that ranks second in the country, trailing only SEC West rival Ole Miss.

The Tigers had long been the favorite to keep the No. 93 overall prospect in Louisiana as he took his last two visits there - an unofficial on Nov. 28 and an official on Dec. 11.

The 6'4", 215-pounder is a versatile athlete, saying he plans to also play basketball at LSU. In high school, he didn't play football during his junior season so that he could play soccer. Davis also plans to return kicks and/or punts for the Tigers.
