The Loyola women’s volleyball won back-to-back games against Loyola University Maryland and Montana State University, at Gentile Arena Friday in the Rambler Challenge tournament hosted by Loyola.
The Ramblers beat Loyola Maryland 3-2 at noon and Montana State 3-0 at 7:30 p.m.
After losing the first two sets to Loyola-Maryland 25-17 and 27-25, the Ramblers came back to win the next three sets. The third set resulted in a 25-23 Rambler victory and the fourth set also marked a 25-21 win to tie the set score at 2-2.
Heading into the fifth and final set, Loyola Chicago was able to pull away to take the set 16-14, giving the Ramblers their first home win of the season.
