The Loyola women’s volleyball team continued its historic win streak Oct. 28 against Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in a three set sweep, marking its 13th consecutive win to stay undefeated in the Atlantic 10 (A-10) and matched the program’s all-time win streak record. The match was the first of a weekend series against the Rams.
The first set began in the hands of the Ramblers, with a kill from senior middle blocker Taylor Venuto. To start, a few volleys went back-and-forth between both teams, until Loyola went on a three-point scoring run sending them 9-5 over the Rams.
