The Loyola women’s volleyball team (2-2) won its home opener 3-0 against Furman University Friday afternoon to open the Ramber Challenge tournament. This is Loyola’s first sweep since Sept. 30, 2016.
“I’m just really proud of the girls. They put together a more complete game,” head coach Amanda Berkley said. “I think it’s actually the best I have seen them play this season. They came out with a really great sense of focus and a really great attitude to compete today.”
The Ramblers took an early lead during the first set, but lost some momentum and ended up trailed the Paladins 11-7.
