Women’s Volleyball Beats Indiana State, Makes Program History

The Loyola women’s volleyball team (17-8, 10-2) extended its winning streak to three matches with a 3-1 victory over Indiana State University Saturday night.

Loyola set a program record for most Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) wins in a season with its 10th win this year. The Ramblers still have six conference games remaining on the schedule.

Against Indiana State, the Ramblers were led in kills by senior outside hitter Quinn Spieker with 18. First-year outside hitter Addie Barnes also put up 14 kills and 13 digs.

“I had a rough week in practice, so this weekend was a good opportunity to turn things around [for me],” Spieker said.
