Williamson Out Three to Four Weeks After Surgery

Loyola sophomore guard Lucas Williamson had surgery after injuring his hand for the second time this year. He’s expected to be out a month, Loyola Athletics announced Wednesday afternoon. The news comes two days after head coach Porter Moser said the injury could be season-ending.

Williamson initially broke his right hand against University of Nevada Nov. 27 and returned to the lineup against University of Evansville Jan. 8 after missing eight games. He’s been sidelined for Loyola’s last two games against Missouri State University and Southern Illinois University after going down against Indiana State University Jan.
