As a way to wrap up the end of the 2019-20 school year, The Phoenix sports editors sat down and talked about the best Loyola players, games and teams — the 2020 Phoenix Sports Awards were born.
There are eight different categories for people to vote on: Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, Male Athlete of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Top Player Who Didn’t Get a Full Season and Game of the Year.
Each category has four different options chosen by the sports editors.
