With the conclusion of the 2021-2022 collegiate men’s basketball season, over 1,000 players have entered the transfer portal, according to Verbal Commits.
Included in this list of players are two from Loyola’s roster — senior forward Damezi Anderson and first-year guard Ty Johnson.

Johnson announced his entry into the transfer portal on his Instagram April 1.
“Being able to play for a school in my own city is more than a player could ask for,” he wrote in the post. “Loyola will always be a home for me but now it’s time to level up and find a new place to call home.
