While the Loyola men’s basketball team was capturing the attention of the nation during the 2018 NCAA Cinderella run, Aher Uguak was right along with them — watching from the bench.
Although the redshirt senior forward was unable to step out on the court for the Ramblers that season, Uguak began carving out his place on the team during the following years — starting 28 of Loyola’s 34 contests in the 2018-19 season, and all but one in 2019-20.
Now in his third season on the court for Loyola, Uguak stepped on the gas.
