Loyola women’s volleyball team captain Quinn Spieker has played a major role in the team’s 10-match turnaround from last year. The team finished 5-24 last season and is currently 15-11.

Her work as a leader and player has helped the Ramblers on the court during games. Head coach Amanda Berkley said Spieker, a junior, is one reason why the team has improved from last season.

“She’s had a great impact for us on the court,” Berkley said. “She has been so focused and wanting to get better and have a good season and so everything that she has done has been with a purpose and she’s just really helped our team have a big turn around from last year to this year.
