Multiple outlets have said Loyola men’s basketball head coach Porter Moser is heading to the University of Oklahoma to be the next head coach of the Sooners.
However, Loyola Athletics hasn’t confirmed the move and didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment by the time of publication. Moser also didn’t respond to a request for comment.
Details on Moser’s potential contract with Oklahoma have yet to be announced. The Sooners’ head coaching seat was open after Lon Kruger announced his retirement March 25 after 10 seasons in Norman, Oklahoma.
Oklahoma Athletics didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment by the time of publication.
