Moser: ‘I Think Surgery’s Imminent’ for Williamson

Loyola sophomore guard Lucas Williamson could be out for the season after re-injuring his right hand, according to head coach Porter Moser.

In a conference call with all 10 Missouri Valley Conference coaches and members of the media, Moser said Williamson will be further evaluated and will likely need surgery on his hand. He added he didn’t know how long Williamson would be sidelined at the time of the call.

“He’s going to be out for a while, if not the season,” Moser said. “For him, I think surgery’s imminent … there’s a chance he can get back … but we’ll know more later today about the timetable.
