After a stint in the NBA Summer League, former Loyola men’s basketball player Marques Townes is set to play professionally in Europe this season.
Townes signed a contract with Club Baloncesto Murcia (UCAM Murcia) in Spain, the club announced Tuesday morning. Details of the deal weren’t immediately released. UCAM Murcia is the same team fellow Rambler Milton Doyle played for last season. Townes and Doyle share the same agent.
