The Loyola women’s volleyball team (9-6, 2-0) continued to dominate its Missouri Valley Conference opponents with a 3-1 victory over Drake University at Gentile Arena Monday night.
The Ramblers were led by first-year middle hitter Taylor Venuto, who led the team with 15 kills. First-year outside hitter Addie Barnes recorded a double-double with 14 kills and 15 digs, and redshirt senior libero Maddy Moser led the team with 32 digs.
Both teams came out hot to start the first set. In the middle of the set, Drake would go on a 8-1 run to take a 14-8 lead.
