Two first-years on the Loyola women’s volleyball team — outside hitter Emily Banitt and libero Grace Hinchman — were named to the 2020-21 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) All-Freshman team.
This is the second consecutive season two Ramblers have been named to the team after sophomores outside hitter Addie Barnes and middle hitter Taylor Venuto received the award last year.
Banitt began her career at Loyola on a hot streak, tallying a double-double in each of the first three matches of the season. She went on to boast a team-best nine double-doubles as well as 10 matches of double-figure kills.
