The Loyola women’s basketball team announced Nov. 24 a pair of non-conference games against Chicago rivals. The Ramblers are scheduled to play Chicago State University Nov. 28 and DePaul University Dec. 13.
Loyola will start its season on the road against Chicago State just two days after Thanksgiving. Last season, the Ramblers dismantled the Cougars 98-53 on the way to Loyola’s historic 9-0 start to the season. Sophomore guard Sam Galanopoulos nearly put up a triple-double — finishing with 13 points, eight rebounds and eight assists — in just her fourth collegiate game.
