The Loyola women’s basketball team’s bench stormed the court as the final buzzer rang, signifying the Ramblers had knocked off No. 3 seed Illinois State University 61-60 in the quarterfinal of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Tournament in Moline, Illinois March 12. Junior forward Allison Day scored a career-high 23 points — including seven in the final period — to secure the victory for the Ramblers.
