In the quarterfinals of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Tournament, No. 1 seeded Loyola will take on No. 9 seeded Valparaiso University. The winner of the matchup will advance to the semi-final game and have a chance at the MVC Tournament title.
This is the third time the Ramblers will face off against the Crusaders. Loyola swept the series in the regular season.
In their first matchup Jan. 15, Valparaiso struggled on both ends of the court as Loyola cruised to a 71-54 win. Six Ramblers scored in the double digits, led by sophomore guard Aher Uguak, sophomore center Cameron Krutwig and first-year Cooper Kaifes with 12 points apiece.
