The Loyola women’s volleyball team (14-7, 8-0) continued its undefeated run in the program’s first season of Atlantic 10 (A-10) play with a 3-0 win against George Mason University. The win opened the two-match series against the Patriots at Gentile Arena and extended the team’s wining streak to eight.
The first set began in a back-and-forth between both teams, neither making it easy for their opponent to score. George Mason got on the board first after a Loyola service error, but Loyola came right back with a kill from junior outside hitter Karlie McNabb.
Both teams took turns scoring, neither holding the lead until the Ramblers posted a 4-0 scoring run, with all points from McNabb.
