The Loyola men’s basketball team (4-2) pulled away from the University of St. Francis in the second half to win 92-55 at Gentile Arena Dec. 22. Sophomore forward Tom Welch finished with 17 points in his first start for the Ramblers.
St. Francis, located in Joliet, belongs to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The NAIA is comparable to the NCAA’s Division II.
