Loyola Defeats Norfolk State for Fourth Straight Win

The Loyola men’s basketball team (7-4) outlasted Norfolk State University 64-45 at Gentile Arena sunday afternoon. Loyola redshirt junior guard Tate Hall led the way with 21 points — all coming in the second half.

After starting the season 3-4, the Ramblers are now on a four-game winning streak — the longest since 2017-18.

“I had called out Tate [Hall] at halftime,” Loyola head coach Porter Moser said after the game. “I don’t know if I’ve seen a more dominating half since I’ve been here.”

In addition to scoring all of his points in the second half, Hall tallied four steals, five rebounds and an assist after halftime.
