The COVID-19 pandemic has altered college sports plans across the country since March. With the 2020-21 basketball season now well underway, Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) teams are in the swing of their conference schedule, albeit in a modified format.
The MVC President’s Council announced Nov. 20 the altered schedule for both men’s and women’s conference seasons as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19. Each team would play 18 games and face each other mostly in two-game series on back-to-back days in the same location, playing four road series and four home series.
