Loyola Announces No Concessions At Gentile To Combat COVID-19

Loyola Athletics announced that concession sales would be suspended at Gentile Arena in an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 via press release Jan. 12.

The press release stated that food and beverage sales will also be suspended in the Wolves Den — the VIP hospitality area in the arena. When COVID-19 cases decrease to a level “deemed safe,” concessions will reopen at Gentile Arena.

Water will continue to be available, but fans will not be allowed to bring in any outside food or drink.

This decision comes six days after Loyola Athletics announced it would be requiring proof of vaccination or exemption and a negative test result within 72 hours of the game for fans five and older.
