For Loyola fans, the yearly Arch Madness tournament marked not just a chance for the Ramblers to grab a Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) title, but an opportunity to visit and celebrate with other Loyola fans in a different city.
Arch Madness 2022 marked Loyola’s last conference tournament as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC), as the team will transfer to the Atlantic 10 (A-10) Conference for the following school year. The MVC Tournament has been held in St. Louis since 1977 — hence the name “Arch Madness” — whereas the A-10 does not have a consistent tournament location.
