Former Rambler men’s basketball player and three-time Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Player of the Year Cameron Krutwig is heading to Belgium after signing a contract with the Antwerp Giants.
The Antwerp Giants are a member of the Pro Basketball League (PBL), the highest league in Belgian basketball. The team announced Krutwig’s two-year contract June 30.
The former Rambler center chose to forgo his extra year of eligibility provided by the NCAA due to COVID-19, and instead announced his decision to declare for the NBA Draft April 22. The four remaining seniors announced they would be staying at Loyola the following day.
