Gabi Maciagowski is heading to Switzerland on a pro volleyball contract for the 2020 season, fresh off her first professional season playing for Budowlani Lodz in Poland.
“It was a little nerve-racking,” Maciagowski said. “With everything with [COVID-19], I didn’t really know if a contract would show up. I ended up signing in July. The coaches saw me and they reached out to my agent, and within a couple of days I was signed.”
Raiffeisen Volley Toggenburg is in the Swiss Women’s Volleyball Championship League A, the premier league for women’s volleyball in the country.
