End of the Road: Loyola Falls to Michigan 69-57 in Final Four

The Loyola men’s basketball team (32-6, 15-3) saw its season come to an end with a 69-57 loss to the University of Michigan in San Antonio March 31.

The Ramblers took a 29-22 lead into halftime and were 23-0 when leading at the break. But, Michigan shot 16-for-28 in the second half, compared to Loyola’s 12-for-26, to come out with the victory.

The loss caps a historic season for Loyola, the 100th in program history. The team’s 32 wins set a program record and the Ramblers made it to the Final Four for just the second time in school history.
