Doyle Signs G-League Contract with Long Island Nets

Former Loyola guard Milton Doyle has earned a spot with the Long Island Nets, the team announced Oct. 23. Long Island is the G-League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, meaning Doyle will be playing a step below the NBA.

Doyle was the final player cut by the Nets, according to his agent, Keith Kreiter, as NBA rosters have a 17-player maximum. While with Long Island, Doyle will be able to be called up by any one of the 30 NBA teams if they need an extra guard, according to his one-year contract.

After earning an NBA Summer League contract with Brooklyn as an undrafted free agent, Doyle averaged 10.
