One of the new additions to the Loyola men’s basketball team is senior forward Ryan Schwieger, who has already made an impact on the team both on and off the court through his drive and commitment to the game.
Schwieger is one of the leading scorers in his first season on the Ramblers roster with an average of 9.5 points per game over 20 games played so far. He is one of two transfers from the Ivy League and came to Loyola for the 2021-2022 season after spending four years at Princeton University.
“When I went into the transfer portal, [Loyola] was the first one to reach out to me,” Schwieger said.
