Senior midfielder Marc Torrellas and senior forward Oscar Dueso lead the Loyola men’s soccer team by working together to create scoring chances. Both hailing from Catalonia, Spain, the duo are close friends and boost team morale with their positivity and comedic personalities.
Before meeting at Loyola, Torrellas and Dueso grew up in Catalonia, an autonomous community in northern Spain. Torrellas calls Barcelona home while Dueso is from Lleida, a city just two hours away from Barcelona. While they have never met up in Spain, Dueso said their families know each other and have made plans to visit.
