The women’s volleyball team fell to San Diego (5-7 overall, 2-1 WCC) at home on Tuesday in four sets, 25-22, 19-25, 25-21 and 25-20. The Lions are now 11-3 in the season and 1-2 in the WCC.

Junior setter Tess Reid felt San Diego’s recognition of LMU’s offensive holes was a major factor in the Lions’ loss.

“I feel like San Diego did a really good job on the net with scouting our offense,” said Reid, who led both teams with 45 assists in the match and is second in the nation in assists per set with 12.
