Women’s Soccer (9-6-4 Overall, 4-4-1 WCC)
In the final game of the season for the Lions, LMU won its third straight game with a 2-1 victory over Gonzaga this weekend.
The team was lead by the seniors in the final game of their LMU careers, with senior defender Jill Farley scoring the first goal for the Lions and senior midfielder Maddie Medved following up with the second goal to give the Lions an early 2-0 lead over the Bulldogs.
Gonzaga was able to get on board in the second half after the Lions with a goal in the 59th minute by junior midfielder Callie Best to make the game 2-1.
