Volleyball wins Kansas tournament and continues to carry momentum

The LMU volleyball team continued their hot start to the season by going 3-0 at the Kansas Invitational, defeating Auburn, American and Kansas over the weekend. The Lions now have an overall record of 8-1, with their one loss coming against No. 24 Cal Poly. Their season start of 8-1 is the best since the 2014 team's 12-0 start of the season run, according to LMU athletics.

The Lions have seen strong play from junior setter, Tess Reid, the national leader in assists per set with 13.05. Reid has 422 assists on the season thus far. LMU is also first in the nation in kills per set with 15.
