Perhaps the greatest concern for Scott Satterfield and the Louisville football staff entering the 2019 season was the offensive line.
The new coaching staff took over and expressed immediate worry in regards to holes in recruiting, particularly in the trenches for the Cards.
In his introductory press conference, Satterfield made note of the fact that the Cardinals only had eight offensive linemen on the roster; A number that the staff wanted to double in the coming years.
To try and counteract the lack of depth last season, Louisville used former walk-ons, brought in two graduate transfers, and signed four true freshmen in the 2019 class to beef up the line.
